How I Built My First Responsive Website

When I started learning web development, one of my main goals was to build a website that looked good on every device — whether it’s a laptop, tablet, or mobile. At first, it seemed a little confusing, but once I understood the basics of responsive design, everything became clearer.

I started with HTML & CSS, creating a simple structure for the homepage. Then, I used CSS Flexbox and Media Queries to adjust the layout for different screen sizes. This small step completely changed the way my website looked on mobile — it finally felt like a professional site!

The biggest lesson I learned was that responsive design isn’t just about resizing text or images, it’s about making sure the user experience stays smooth no matter what device someone is using.

Now, whenever I create a new website, I always keep responsiveness as a top priority. Because in today’s world, most people visit websites on their phones, and if your site doesn’t look good there, you might lose a visitor.

My advice to beginners: Start small, experiment, and don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Every error you fix teaches you something new!
